Fr. Timothy Lynch has been the parochial vicar of St. Michael parish since July 12, 2016. He was ordained to the holy priesthood of Jesus Christ in the year of Mercy on May 28, 2016 by Bishop Frederick Campbell. He was born and raised in Columbus, OH and attended St. Patrick’s Dominican Parish where he was an altar server for 6 years, and is a member of the last graduating class at Our Lady of Fatima Academy (1994) grade school, Whitehall-Yearling High School (class of 1998), The Franciscan University of Steubenville (class of 2002) Bachelor of Arts, and The Pontifical College Josephinum Bachelor of Philosophy (2013) & Master of Divinity (2016).
After living and working in outside sales after college for 7 years he decided by God’s grace (and the faithful’s prayers for vocations to the priesthood) to enter seminary at the age of 29.
Fr. Lynch has two parents, Mr. Robert Lynch, Ms. Julie Lynch, and 3 siblings, Mary Kantarek, Joseph Lynch and Patricia Lynch. He also has Julian Kantarek, 1 brother-in-law, Jeff Kantarek and 1 sister-in-law, Brooke Lynch. He now have 2 nephews and two niece's. His sister had twin girls after Julian, Agatha and Lola, and his brother and sister in law have one boy Kyle.
He looks forward to his new assignment, working with his brother priests in serving all of the good people down in God’s country.
